The Brabham Oval Park and Pavilion were declared open by the Deputy Mayor of the City of Swan Cr Mel Congerton on Friday 19 November 2021.
The Perth North Tamil School was honoured to present the Thamil traditional drumming ‘Parai’, Thamil traditional martial art ‘Silambam’ and traditional ‘Bharatha Natyam’ dance at the commencement of the official opening ceremony.
It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the event together with local community members. We also had the ‘Curry Stand Food Truck’ on site selling authentic Indian and Sri Lankan food in support of our volunteer group’s fund raising effort.
