Silambam or Silambattam is a 3,000-year-old weapon-based Tamil martial art widely practiced by Tamils. Hand and foot movements make it feels like meditation. It helps to reduce stress and strengthens mind and body. Silambam also helps to develop muscular coordination and improves the concentration power.

Perth North Tamil School volunteers, with the support of the Tamil Association of Western Australia, provide Silambam training to our students and parents on alternate Sundays.
